Using Up Some Scraps

So I wanted to share these cards I made over the weekend with you that
used up a bunch of scraps that I had sitting on my workspace.

All of the cards were made using the "Happy Day" collection by Simple Stories.
I love this collections colors and patterns! And all of the embellishments
are perfect for scrap booking or card making.

Another thing I liked about these is that I thought they could be used for
any age and gender...What do you think?

Have a great day!

Some Cute Baby Gift Ideas

Hello Everyone!
So sorry for my absence lately...just can't seem to find time...
In any case yesterday a friend had called me about making some baby
scrapbooks and then we got talking about some other gift ideas she had seen done at
baby showers she had been to and I had to give them a try.

So this first idea is meant to look like wrapped candy.
It uses baby wash clothes.

This next idea uses a pair of super soft baby socks
made into a cupcake that looks quite edible...

I decorated the cupcake base to look pretty too!!!

Then here is a set of four mini cupcakes also made from baby socks
and embellished to look pretty.

And they can be put into a cupcake box as a set...

and last I put together this cute bouquet of rose buds that is made out of wash clothes.
I thought it would be a cute gift for the top of a present or even in a vase as a centerpiece.

So what do you think?
I would love to hear your thoughts on these.
And if you are interested I will be taking orders for any of the items listed here
just contact me for details and pricing.

Have a great day! The weather is beautiful now that
the rain is done hopefully so I am going to go enjoy it!

More St. Patty's Day

Here is the other card from my card swap with a few friends.
It really came together pretty well...I didn't have anything specific
in mind it just happened. Sometimes those are the nicest cards...

So this card used the Love, Laugh Love set from Close To My Heart.
Papertrey Inks - Luck of the Irish, Mat Stack 5, Patterned paper and
the celebration die cuts. I really like the way it all came together.

What do you think? I would love to see your comments.

See you tomorrow,
Jennifer

DeNami Designs St. Patty's Chick

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I know that I am a bit ahead of myself here, but I wanted to
share this card I made for a card swap that I do
with a few friends. I had an idea of what I wanted to do and
it took a little bit for it to come together, but here it is.

I used the little chick from DeNami designs. The rainbow, clouds and sun
are all from a Close To My Heart set called Over the Rainbow. The shamrocks
on the envelope are from Studio G and the tiny shamrock on the background,
and the sentiment are from Papertrey Ink.

So I am happy because I am ahead of schedule this year. Usually the holiday
is just days away and I have not even started my cards yet, this year not the case
I have been ahead of myself!!! Feels so good.

See you tomorrow,
Jennifer

Papertrey Day 9 - Anniversary Challenge

So I thought it would be fun to participate in this Anniversary challenge
since I love butterflies so much. So here is my card for the
butterflies & leaves challenge...

It uses Papertrey Inks - patterned paper, both butterfly die cuts,
and leaves from Blooming Buttons set.
Ribbon - Michaels
 Scalloped Frames - Spellbinders
Top Note Die - Stampin' Up!

This happens to be one of my favorite color combinations.
Hope you have enjoyed it.

See you tomorrow.

Teacher Valentines

So I thought I would share the Valentine's gifts that I made
for the teachers. I know that they will enjoy them because
who doesn't need a little a chocolate to get through the day!!!

So I used some valentine paper from Kelly Pannacci - K & Co.
and a Martha Stewart  - valentine paper. The sentiment is from
Papertrey Ink and then some punched circles from Fiskars.
The ribbon is rayon seam binding. They use a roll of Rolo's
and a Hershey Kiss.

Hope you have enjoyed today's share.
See you soon.
