DIY Christmas KrEative Design Team Project

Good Morning!
I hope you all were able to enjoy that beautiful day that we had yesterday...
I wanted to share my Kreative Design Team projects for this month with
you all. I really enjoyed this line and had a lot of fun with it.

The products that I used are:

Simple Stories - DIY Christmas Collection - Card Layers
DIY Christmas Collection - Card Layers

Simple Stories - DIY Christmas Collection - A2 Card Fronts
DIY Christmas Collection - A2 Card Fronts

Simple Stories - DIY Christmas Collection - 6 x 6 Paper Pad
DIY Christmas Collection - 12 x 12 Paper Collection

This collection has a lot of possibilities depending on your style.
I made several tags, holiday cards and home décor pieces out of this.
Without further delay here are my creations.

First up is a set of mittens that I cut out with the cricut machine.
I then did a blanket stitch around the edges to hold them together.
I added a pipe cleaner to hang them by and decorated them with
some of the fun sayings. I punched a few snowflakes and added buttons.
Filled them with a candy cane and sprig of Christmas greenery.
I can't wait to hang these by my mantle.
Some close-ups of the embellishing on them.

Here are the tags I created.
I just used some plain manila tags that I had here, but you could use
any cardstock and cut out any size or style of tag you want.
The only thing I added was some twine and rhinestones to glitz them up a bit.

One of my Favorite things I made was this adorable little tea light holder.
The front of it says "Let It Snow" and the sides have snowflakes on them.

I of course added some rhinestones to help with the sparkle effect.

Here are the cards that I made.

This is the inside to the card above.

They all have insides to them I have only shown a few of them here
because of space, but stop by the store and see them in person...
these pictures don't really do them justice.

And last is the other home décor piece that I mdae from the 12 x 12 paper
collection. I used the paper and rolled them around a dowel so they were all the same size
and then hot glued them onto the star I cut from the cricut machine.
I added a star in the middle to finish it off and of course some
sparkle to the project with stickles glitter.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and will have time to stop by the store and see of the
fun things I made from the collection.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

KrEative Design Team - Doodlebug's - Friendly Forest Reveal

Good Afternoon! I hope you are all staying warm on this chilly day?
I wanted to share this month's projects with you.
I just adore this line...I know you will too!

My first double page layout is all about a day at the apple orchard
picking falls favorite treats.

I loved all of the stickers, papers and embellishments with this kit.
So fun and easy to use.

Here is my second layout featuring a fun day at the pumpkin patch.
The papers were so colorful and fun to use.

Up next is a cute fall card....using some of the cute stickers and borders.

And last is a mini album I made using 3 cards that I sewed together at the fold.
I die cut the shapes with a Spellbinder's die.

I wished I had more embellishments left to add to this, but it was all about using up
what I had left in the kit.

How cute is that little owl? Pretty cute right!

And there you have it cover to cover pics of the mini album.
I hope you have enjoyed my projects.
Stop by The Village Scrapbooker if you would like to see the projects in person.
They will be on display until the middle of November when we turn in our next
projects....I will give you a hint...Holiday themed.

Have a great day!
Jennifer

A New Custom Baby for Kim S.

I have been working on a new custom baby for a customer.

She now has been named Julie.

Julie weighs in at 3 lbs. 12.5 ounces.
She is 20 inches long with bent legs
I painted her hair, one brush stroke at a time.

This little Owl Onesie Dress I made myeslf for her.
I also made her matching headband

 She is just so sweet...
Her Minnie mouse outfit and matching socks.

I also made her a crocheted Minnie mouse hat to match her outfit.

I love this pose of her....so loveable.
Hope you enjoyed little Julie's photo shoot.
Thanks for stopping by.

Have a great day!
