Cards for a Swap

I wanted to show off a few card creations that I did in
a card swap with one of my good friends.
We try to do some kind of swap every month with each other.
She moved away in January of 2012 and this
is an important way that we stay connected with each other.

Hope you enjoy them...I know she did.

So this first card used papers by Simple Stories - Summer Fresh,
sentiment - Papertrey Ink, butterfly punch - Martha Stewart and Circle & Scallop punch by
Ek Success.

Card supplies: paper - Pink Paislee, Sentiment & Butterfly - Papertrey Ink
Scallop Punch - Stampin' Up! and Decorative Scissors - Provo Craft.

Card Supplies: Patterned Paper - Simple Stories, Sentiment, Pocket Die & Flowers -
Papertrey Ink.

A Piece of Cake

I made some cake slices for birthday gifts and loved the way
they turned out. I cut the cake slices on the Cricut machine
with the Artiste cartridge from Close To My Heart.

I decorated them up with ribbon, flowers and pearls.

The paper is from Close To My Heart - La Belle Vie.

And I found stickers by Jolee that looked like piped icing for the back edge.

I put gift cards in them and they looked so edible...

Have a great day!

Handmade Birthday Gifts

I apologize for the long break...I will try to better in 2013...
So where do I begin with all of the posts that I wanted to put up
on here for all to enjoy. I guess I will just pick the ones that I like the most.
So this post is the handmade birthday gifts I made for a few close friends
back in September.
I saw some ideas on pinterest  for a few different ideas on how to make
a cake out of Hershey Nuggets, so I gave it a try.

I don't think it looks bad for a first try? What do you think?
Well I know that the friends I made them for loved them and I guess that
is what counts....

Have a great day!
