Gingerbread Ornaments

My latest creations are some new ornaments that I painted.
I have never done this style of painting before, but it looked
easy enough so I gave it a try.

They are not my designs...they are by a painter by the name of
Pamela House and she only does gingerbread boys and girls.
My favorite at Christmas.

The one below is by another woman by the name of
Kathy Jakopovich that I found on another website.

I ended up free handing them onto the wood because I didn't have any transfer paper.
So I didn't think they came out bad at all.
And the one below was suppose to be on a 12" wooden circle and I made
it work on an oval at a much smaller size...like 3".

Hope you have enjoyed.
Be back soon...

A New Little Girl "Noel"

I have a new little girl to share with you tonight.
I thought "Noel" was a fitting name for her since we
are in the month of December.

She looks to me like she could be about 3 months old...

I had taken a class on how to do painted hair from Professional Reborn Artist
Amanda Hannon at Babies of Chysalis Meadows.
I learned so much form her and she was so sweet to work with.
I was thrilled with my first results and can't wait to do some more.

She has on a vintage style dress with a beautiful collar.
I decorated her pacifier to give her a sweet girly look.

I made her a fancy hair bow to give her a sweet look.

I also added the same embellishments to her little slippers
so everything tied in together.
As you can see below she managed to get one slipper off and is showing
off her sweet little chubby toes...

I hope you have enjoyed her photos.
Check back soon as I have some Holiday projects that I have been working on.

Have a great day!

Meet Little Baby "Tanner"

I would like to introduce you to "Tanner".
He is the first baby boy I have made.

He is modeling the new little reindeer hats I have been crocheting.

I couldn't resist this adorable little outfit with little doggies, paw prints & trees.

He is so adorable in this outfit.

Playing with his little toes.

He is ready for a nap all bundled up...

He is so small he floats in his newborn clothes.

Here he is modeling the Santa hat and cacoon I crocheted last week.

He is so precious...for his first Christmas...

I painted his head of hair to try it because that is another
technique that all of the reborn artists are doing.
It is not perfect, but for a first time I think it turned it pretty good.

It even has a swirling crown like a newborn.

I hope you have enjoyed my latest creation.
See you soon.

Ballerina Tutu with Ruffle Yarn

I wanted to share with you a new item I just finished crocheting
for a new sweet baby that I just finished.

So I have a new Baby " Madeline" and
her new outfit I made for her.

So this little tutu skirt worked up pretty quickly and actually wasn't too bad to do.
I think it is the perfect little addition to her as she has the sweetest little chubby legs.
I just want to squeeze them.

Of course, she is darling and that mouth and chin...oh my goodness...

And here is the little tutu all by itself...

Have a great day!

New Crocheted Items

So it was really cold and rainy here all day
and those are the days I seem to be most productive
with my crocheting projects.

I just got these new patterns and decided that I would give
them a try to see how they turned out.

First up is the most adorable little reindeer hat
for a baby.

I have a boy doll that I am working on right now that I am going to be putting this on.

Next is the ear flap owl hat.
All I can say is adorable!!!
My love for owls this was so fun to make.

Matter of fact I am in the process of making a big girl sized one now for my
sweet daughter.

And lastly, a Santa hat with a matching cacoon for another doll
as a Christmas gift.

Hope you have enjoyed!
Be back soon!

Baby Gifts

I have been meaning to post these for a while now.
They were so fun to make.
The cake is my own design, but the ice cream sundae, bassinet
and the baby swaddled were something that I found tutorials online for.
These were gifts for my younger sons teacher.
We threw her a mini baby shower from the class and parents on
the last day of school.
She loved everything and was so surprised!!!

I chose to do grey with aqua for the color scheme
because they did not know the sex of the baby.
Although the baby's room was going to have lambs.

Since we were doing ice cream sundaes on the last day of school
I thought it would be nice to give her a sundae for the baby
that was calorie free...

I knew that the color of the nursery was green so
the blanket that I wrapped around the diaper baby was
to go with the nursery.

Have a great day!

Custom Made Safari Baby Album

Wow it has been quite sometime since I have actually scrapbooked anything.
I was asked to make a Baby album in a safari theme that
was neutral, since they don't know the sex of the baby yet.

So here is what I came up with...

Loving the Burlap album...

I think the first page pretty much sums up that I think this whole paper line was so so sweet!!!

I love this little Giraffe with the bear holding onto him.

Hope you enjoyed!
Have a great night!

Meet Baby Cassie

I have a new baby for you to meet today
her name is "Cassie".

I have painted her and micro-rooted her tiny little eyelashes.
She has perfectly manicured little fingers and toes.
I decided not to give her hair.
I thought she looked to cute as a bald baby.

So I hope you enjoy viewing her photos.

She is wearing some of the new leggings I have been making.

She has a whole mini mouse ensemble.

She is ready for Halloween wearing her new little zebra costume.

I have fallen in love with this one so it will be hard for me to let her go.
And her little outfits are my absolute favorites so far.

Let me know what you think.
I would love to hear from you.

Have a great day!
