More St. Patty's Day

Here is the other card from my card swap with a few friends.
It really came together pretty well...I didn't have anything specific
in mind it just happened. Sometimes those are the nicest cards...

So this card used the Love, Laugh Love set from Close To My Heart.
Papertrey Inks - Luck of the Irish, Mat Stack 5, Patterned paper and
the celebration die cuts. I really like the way it all came together.

What do you think? I would love to see your comments.

See you tomorrow,
Jennifer

DeNami Designs St. Patty's Chick

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I know that I am a bit ahead of myself here, but I wanted to
share this card I made for a card swap that I do
with a few friends. I had an idea of what I wanted to do and
it took a little bit for it to come together, but here it is.

I used the little chick from DeNami designs. The rainbow, clouds and sun
are all from a Close To My Heart set called Over the Rainbow. The shamrocks
on the envelope are from Studio G and the tiny shamrock on the background,
and the sentiment are from Papertrey Ink.

So I am happy because I am ahead of schedule this year. Usually the holiday
is just days away and I have not even started my cards yet, this year not the case
I have been ahead of myself!!! Feels so good.

See you tomorrow,
Jennifer

So I thought it would be fun to participate in this Anniversary challenge
since I love butterflies so much. So here is my card for the
butterflies & leaves challenge...

It uses Papertrey Inks - patterned paper, both butterfly die cuts,
and leaves from Blooming Buttons set.
Ribbon - Michaels
 Scalloped Frames - Spellbinders
Top Note Die - Stampin' Up!

This happens to be one of my favorite color combinations.
Hope you have enjoyed it.

See you tomorrow.

Teacher Valentines

So I thought I would share the Valentine's gifts that I made
for the teachers. I know that they will enjoy them because
who doesn't need a little a chocolate to get through the day!!!

So I used some valentine paper from Kelly Pannacci - K & Co.
and a Martha Stewart  - valentine paper. The sentiment is from
Papertrey Ink and then some punched circles from Fiskars.
The ribbon is rayon seam binding. They use a roll of Rolo's
and a Hershey Kiss.

Hope you have enjoyed today's share.
See you soon.

Papertrey Lace Bouquet

Today I want to wish my good friend Leslie a very
Happy Birthday!!!

I would like to share with all of you the gift I made her.
It uses some of Papertrey Ink plastic boxes that their stamps
come packaged in, some patterned paper and more.

The patterned paper is by making memories. The stamps and die cuts are
by Papertrey Ink. Ribbon is by Stampin' Up! and rhinestones are from Michael's.

This what the sides looked like.

And this was the back with my little signature stamp that I put
on everything handmade. So you want to know what was inside...
Check out the photos below...

I used the new stamps from Papertrey Ink called Lace Bouquet.
I thought it would be nice to have an assortment of cards for lots
of different occasions. I included 2 each of 5 popular sentiments
and left one set completely blank to be used for any occasion.

I chose an assortment of colors so that there would be plenty of variety.

The sentiments are also from Papertrey Ink-Botanical Silhouettes.
I had fun coordinating the outside of the envelopes to match each card too!

If you get a chance you should check out the DeNami Design Blog Hop
this weekend on the 12th. You have a chance to win a gift certificate to their store.
Just click on the DeNami Blog Hop Blinkie at the top right of my blog and
you will be taken to their site for further instructions.

Hope you have enjoyed today's share.

Owl Goodie Bags

These cute little bags are cut using the Close To My Heart cricut
cartridge "Art Philosophy". They were cut at 4 1/2 inches and
hold 2 Ghirardelli chocolate squares inside.
The cut little owls are from a digital store on etsy

I have an obsession with cute little owls so it couldn't be helped when I saw them
on Pintrest. You know that addicting place where you can be sucked in for hours
at a time without realizing it. So I bought them not really knowing what I was
going to use them for. Then I cut these out and thought how perfect was
that purchase. I added some little bows with a pearl in the middle and
some tissue paper to fluff them a little.

See you back here tomorrow!

Sympathy Card

I wanted to share this sympathy card because I truly love the way it
turned it. I don't know about you, but I always kind of struggle with these
cards. Sympathy cards are kind of hard because you want them to be
sincere and meaningful to the recipient, so they have to be
toned down from a normal card in my opinion.

I also stamped the envelope. I have been doing that with all my cards lately
I really like the look it gives it as a complete set.
The card uses Papertrey Inks Stitches & Swirls stamp set and I can't remember
who the sentiment is by. I used dark brown, kraft and cranberry red
for the card stock. The die cut shape is also from Papertrey Ink its
Mat Stack 1 and the Mat Stack 1 Layerz.

Well, what do you think? Did I pull it off?

Have a great one!
See you tomorrow.

Valentine Cards for the Boys

Last week I shared the Valentine card I made for my daughter.
So this week I thought I would share the ones I made for my 2 boys.

This uses the Digital stamp "Silver the Dog" that I used in
a previous post called Valentine bookmarks. I changes him a little in
this one to look more like our puppy "Champ".
I thought my boys would get a big kick out of seeing him on the
front of their cards.

I used some papers from K and Company that were in my scrap pile.
The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.
I am pretty happy with the way they turned out and can't wait to see
their response next week on the big day!

See you back here tomorrow for another share!

Papertrey Ink 5th Anniversary Challenge

I am so excited to share my very first creation with you using the
Papertrey Ink tag creations from the 2012 Design Team that were
released earlier today. I used the one that Dawn McVey created
to create my card below. If you would like to play click on the
Papertrey Ink link above and download your own set of tags to
get in on the fun!

I used the newly release Celbrations Die from the January Release as well
as the stamp from the Celebrations set.

I used the Quatrefoil die cut also from Papertrey Ink to cover the bottom
portion of the card. I also used small pearls to decorate the bottom half of the card.

The background paper is by Making Memories, the colored ribbon, cardstock
and ink is Purely Pomegranite by Stampin' Up!
I hope you have enjoyed this surprise post and I will see you back here tomorrow.

Have a great night!

Just A Little Note

So I was able to use one of the brand new sets from Close To My Heart
the other day when I friend and I got together to craft.
I love this new set called "Just for You".

I created card sets that used up some older paper lines that I had a lot
of scraps laying around from. The first one uses the Mayberry line from
Close To My Heart.

Everything is Close to My Heart except for the banner and
sentiment are from Papertrey Ink.

These next two cards use the Wings collection also from Close To My Heart.

The sentiments are from Papertrey Ink again and the rhinestones are from Michael's.

I made these up as boxed gift sets. So I did 4 of each design above
and packaged them up so they are all ready the next time that I might need a
gift and don't have time to make one. It's already to go for someone special.

Have a great day!

Birthday Cards

I made some birthday cards for kids that I wanted to share with you.
They were fast and simple and turned out pretty cute.

The patterned paper is by Kaiser Craft - Miss Nelly I believe it was called.
It was a 6 x 6 pad so I was able to get 2 cards completed out of each sheet.
The banner under the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.
The punched circle, scalloped circle, frame that sentiment is on and the
sentiment are all from Stampin' Up!

And the cute little felt ice cream cones are from the dollar bins at Jo-Ann's.

Have a great day!

More Sonoma Cards

So here is another set of cards using more of the Sonoma Paper from
Close To My Heart. I am loving this paper as you can see and there
is so much variety in the pack that the combinations are endless.

There are classy and elegant and make a great gift if I should need one in a pinch.

This uses the Papertrey Ink sentiments & wreath stamps.
I added ribbon and rhinestones to dress it up a bit.

Have a great day!

A Trio of Cards

I love this line of paper from Close To My Heart.
I don't see many papers with purples out there that really do anything for me.
I had stamped up these images a while ago, but never had
been inspired to do anything with them until I saw this line of paper.

I really like the colors and the way they turned out. I just embellished them with a
little bit of simple velvet ribbon and a few pearls to match.

The sentiments and wreath are from Papertrey Ink.
See you soon.
