Baby Cards

So I have been trying to restock my stash of cards that I sell for some time now and
have not been very successful, but this past weekend I went to town and made a
whole lot of baby cards as I was cleaned out completely.
After going onto Pinterest for some much needed inspiration...here is what I came
up with for some of the cards....

I used the Close To My Heart cricut cartridge Artiste to cut out the cute little
baby shoes and then an oval to cut out all of the centers. The sentiments are
from Papertrey Ink.

The bibs were cut from a circle and a scalloped circle.
I then glued them together and used a circle punch to cut out the
circle in the top of the bib.

I had so much fun embellishing all of the little shoes with flowers
and sequin trims, little bows and pearls...

Hope you have enjoyed!
Have a great day!

Monthly Card Club

So I recently joined the Jillibean Soup monthly card club...The Card Kitchen.
I only discovered this amazing club about two months ago when Melissa Phillips
was a guest designer for them...after I visited I signed up right away.
The club I think is fantastic for the amount of goodies you get and I have
been having a lot of fun playing with all of it...
Here are some of the cards I made with the February 2013 kit.
The paper line is by Pebbles as well as the stickers and I believe that the
line was called Family Ties....

So I made these cards out of the supplies as well as about 8 others that
were scrap lifted from their blog....

I only added the twine, pearls, punches and a few sentiments stamped.
I am very happy with the club and if you like to make cards you should
check it out too!!!

Have a great day!

Simply handmade Layout

Sorry its been so long since I posted on here. I don't know where the time goes???
I thought I would catch you up on a few things that I have made over the last month
or so.... This layout was for a swap with my good friend Gabriella.
We try to do a swap once a month, it doesn't always happen, but we have
the best intentions to get it done.

I used the Simple Stories line called Summer Fresh....I love that line....

The title uses thickers by American Crafts, The vintage button cards and buttons
are from Papertrey Ink, and the other sewing embellishments were from a
stamp set that came with Cardmaking Magazine form overseas.
Gabriella does a lot of incredible quilted pieces so I thought it would be fun for
her to pick her four favorite projects and scrapbook about them...

So hope you have enjoyed my layout...see you back here soon.
