Christmas Cards Swap

I wanted to share with you some cards I just made for a swap at
our local scrapbook store The Village Scrapbooker.

I purchased one of the kits for $10 and you just have to make 5
cards that look alike, but don't necessarily have the same items on them.
Which if you have ever done a swap like this before it can be a bot of
a challenge to achieve that goal.

So this month our kit contained rub-ons, wood words and cards from Kaiser Craft.
Also some ribbon in Christmas colors.

Here was what I came up with....

I colored all of the wooden shapes with a Copic marker and then covered them in
Stickles glitter glue. I set them aside to dry and worked on the background of the card
using two different sized snowflakes and a flourish stamp from Close To My Heart
with red and green ink. The border of the card where I wove the ribbon through
already had the holes in it to do this so that was pretty simple.
Then I cut apart the rub-ons to make them how I liked the sayings and put it
all together. Easy enough...but I love the look.

Hope you have enjoyed...See you soon.
Jennifer
